Power Supply Specification ?

Hi, this is interesting.

Wonder if the power supply (AC Adaptor) is universal voltage, or only 110V a.c. ? I live in a 220 V a.c. region.

Thanks,

Some more questions before I dive.

Thanks for the quick reply. Three more questions:-

1. Is it possible to roll tubes ? What are possible replacements ?

2. Can I also a spare set of tubes with the new purchase ? If yes, how much will that be ?

3. Will be casing gets hot when operating ? The case does not seemed to be vented, and I am concerned about affecting the life of the amp.

Almost ready to dive, though !

Thanks,
Francis

Build Quality ??

Hi czqiu,

I went to the Little Tube website to browse through the pics there for LDMT.

http://www.little-tube.com/bbs/disp...&ID=1494&page=1

It looks like the fitting of the face plate to the casing is not very well executed - on both the silver and back ones, I notice an out-of-fit gap, and on the close up on the black one, the casing seems to have a dent (out-of-roundness) on the right side, and the tightening screws are not entirely flushed with the face plate.

Otherwise, it is simply a nice look amp, and a very special one.

I presume they are pre-production models. Should we expect improvements in these aspects in the ones for the group buy ?

Thanks,
F. Lo

1. Thanks for your interests! It is a pretty new product from Little dot. So, I don't have too much information about rolling tubes.

2. Yes. the price is 15 USD.
3. No. The highest temp will be around 45 C degrees. Much lower than LD2+, or LD2++

The tube can last 5000 hours. easy to change.

Shipping fee: 37 USD to North America, 46 USD to Europe

The amplifier combines features from tube amplifier and traditional amplifier.

Basically, it not only gives you the mild, and gentle touch from vocal, richly detailed feeling from music, but also combines the dynamic and speedy power from tradional amplifier very well.

You looked it very carefully!! Yes, you are right. It is only a sample. We just put it into mass production line this week. So, the final version, commercial product will looks much better whether from quality or appareance.

Thanks
