Japanese Boombox Gets Wheels!

OK..it's wierd product of the month time...Japanese company, ZMP Inc thought they'd take iPod boomboxes a stage further and make them.. mobile. After docking an iPod into the two-wheeled Miuro, it can be programmed or commanded to move from room to room, broadcasting music as it goes. Music can also be streamed wirelessly to the robot via iTunes and other such programs. The Miuro is set to retail at ca. 108,800 yen (US$930) and should ship internationally in the second half of 2007.

Separately sold options add a camera and sensors to the robot so it will map out its own position and remember routes.
