The much loved GO-VIBE portable headphone amp has just been released in version 5. Designer, Norm, ceased production of the reasonably priced little amp a few months ago, much to the chagrin of portable amp enthusiasts everywhere, but has now resumed production with the $75 V5. Norm had this to say about his new release: "As with previous models, the philosophy behind the Go-Vibe is an emphasis on good sound quality rather than gimmicks. There are no noisy charging circuits, no sound robbing buffers, caps or crossfeed circuits and no gimmicky gain switches. With it's high output current it's also well suited to driving both low and high impedance headphones. The Go-Vibe V5 has a light and airy sound with clear mids, a well extended treble and tight, controlled bass." More info below.
